Dirty Sanchez MTV

Myself and daint along with panch and joyce went for a few meetings at
MTV with no real idea of what they wanted from us. Eventually we agreed to a deal to star in our own tv show called
dirty sanchez. they had seen our video Pritchard vs Dainton and all
the hype that surrounded it and agreed to film us create all out
mischief, pain, carnage, trouble and one very long party and we didnt
let them down. we spent a good 10 months filming the first series of
sanchez due to all the complications i.e all the fuck ups we kept
doing filming along the way. it was all new to us, before we could
just do whatever we wanted but now we had the responsibility of the
MTV brand on our backs and we were getting ourselfs into trouble with
the big bosses at MTV. i wont go into detail but put it this way, we
had to film a show like Dirty Sanchez whilst at the same time behaving????
exactly, no easy task but we managed it and the first showing went out
in 2001. after spending 10 months of your life with 3 of your best
mates day in day out doing what we did was hardcore but we loved every
min of it.
as the months rolled by the Dirty Sanchez show just kept getting bigger and bigger
and walking down the street and going partying was becoming crazy.
everyone was talking about the show and it was constantly being played
(still is) on mtv. it was that popular that it was the first MTV UK
production to ever get sold world wide. the show eventually ended up
going out to 64 countries to 400 million people and becoming the
number one show in south america hahaha it makes me laugh every time i
think about that, not bad for a load of idiots. crazy.
due to the popularity of the show it wasnt long before MTV were on the
phone again asking for another Dirty Sanchez show. we now all had the same agent
which was john noel manegment who looked after dermot o’lerey, davina
and russel brand to name a few. having an agent in this game is
essential let me tell you NOW. they may be mr 20% but their worth
every penny.
we agreed to do another Dirty Sanchez show but this time it was gonna be called jobs
for the boyo’s where they put us all into different job’s and see how
we got along by adding our own painfull twist to things. we became
firemen, builders and cowboys to name a few and once again the 4 of us
spent a good few months filming and enjoying what came with it all of
course the ‘PARTY’. wherever we were or whatever we were doing as soon
as we finished filming Dirty Sanchez it was straight to a pub and club and what
normally came from that was a sleeping pancho, and we all know what
happens there haha.
being in a succsefull show like Dirty Sanchez you get invited places. they
wouldnt normally trust us at london film premiers but we did get asked
to present an award at the latin music awards in miami. the 3 of us
flew out (pancho missed his flight) and enjoyed being treated like
kings for a few days before the awards night in a days time. pancho
managed to fly inn on the day so we were all together for the awards.
that night was mental hanging out with all these ‘A’ list stars even
sitting next to iggy pop. we presented the award to a live audience
and a viewing audience of god knows how many millions, it was mental.
we ended up at this crazy multy million pound mansion which was the
after party and it was full of stars untill myself and joycey got
naked and ran round the swimming pool and house screaming haha.
after another succesfull 2nd Dirty Sanchez series MTV were on the phone again for the
3rd series. to tell you the truth i thought we were only going to have
one series and that’d be it but to be told we were going to have a 3rd
was amazing. this time we were gonna take it back to the old school
just like our first series but instead of living in a house together
we were going to be living in a tour bus with blue (the band), bros,
e17′s ex tour manager johnny B traveling around europe. Us lot stuck
in a tour bus for 5 weeks equals good funny footage. it was amazing,
we were more or less living like a band but without the instruments.
we visited sweden, prague, germany, poland, greece, italy and portugal
and i can tell you now that on that 5th week i was starting to loose
my marbles for many a reason haha, wicked. the show eventually came
out and if you ask me it’s one of my fave Dirty Sanchez series out of them all.
